This track is the first release on their own label, Pitch Surfing. Launching through their own platform gives them the freedom to release music when the track is ready and control the entire design of the release.
According to an interview, PAAX was inspired by tours between Spain and Turkey, trying to create something powerful and energetic. Something they could defend in their own DJ sets. The name Pitch Surfing refers to the subtle art of “gliding” between speeds, transitions, and control over changes — an approach they plan to deepen with new releases. The label gives them space to develop their chosen aesthetic.
For DJs and promoters, it’s another tool in their arsenal: you can play it at the peak of the evening, you can build a set with deeper ethno tracks, you can playfully introduce transitions.
