‘Heavy Heart’ by Loco Dice, Skrillex, Fireboy DML [TechHouse]

“Heavy Heart” by the collaboration of Loco Dice, Skrillex and Fireboy DML is experimental Tech House with elements of house, afro-beats and hard sound design. The collaboration of three artists has taken the track beyond the standard genre perception.

The main driver is the groove. Drum is dense, almost hypnotic, typical for Tech House. It sets the rhythmic structure, but doesn’t clog the mix. The pounding hi-hats add the right percussive vibe, but their swing seems a bit muted, as if specifically for a club sound.

If you’re looking for a track that will blow up the dance floor and surprise with its unusual sound, play “Heavy Heart” – it’s the kind of experiment worth hearing.

‘Hallucinations’ by ADRIANNA – [Techno]

“Hallucinations” is a track with a hard, straightforward character. ADRIANNA removes everything unnecessary, leaving only the essence. This is dark, rough Techno without frills.

‘At Night’ by Maur, Dave Spoon [ElectroHouse/TechHouse]

In this updated version of the track “At Night” Maur and Dave Spoon have returned to the roots of the classic Toolroom sound. Keeping the 2006 vibe and bringing in a more modern TechHouse sound. This rework sounds like a tribute to the era when Toolroom set the pace for the scene and Dave Spoon, Funkagenda, D.Ramirez and Mark Knight shaped the sound that is still relevant today.

The basic structure of the track remains in the Electro House style, but Maur has greatly enhanced the drums and bass. The main beat became denser, with a noticeable bias to tech house. Bass line is deep and “rocking”, something reminiscent of Gorgon City rhythmics, making the track suitable for large rooms and mass dancefloors.

‘Sample Inspector’ by RUZE [TechHouse]
