Atlanthes makes his debut on WHIPBASS Records with the release of the ‘Tribu EP.’ It features two tracks with tight techno grooves and high-energy dance beats. The title track, “Tribu,” stays firmly rooted in the techno style (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic). Its rhythm is relentless and designed for the peak moments of the night.

It’s time to set aside the lush stacks and atmospheric textures. Andrey Afanasjev has decided to show a new side of himself. Many know him from his dub-techno project Ekstendia—its dense, deep tracks have consistently resonated with the Superordinate Dub Waves audience.
However, his debut EP “Xyndrax” on the Russian label RRES (Rhythm Resonance) isn’t about dreaminess. It’s his entry into the world of RAW / Hypnotic Techno under his real name. And it’s a hard-hitting debut.

In recent years, the boundaries of Peak Time Techno have expanded significantly. As industry experts noted back in 2020, dividing catalogs into Driving and Raw/Deep/Hypnotic became a necessity for DJs tired of endlessly searching for the right records.

Marco Faraone’s remix of Josh Wink and Size 9’s track “I’m Ready” sounds like the intersection of techno and tech house. On the one hand, the groove is smooth. On the other, the structure leans toward minimalism. At the same time, the tempo is around 130 BPM. So it’s not rushed, but it doesn’t drag either.
Heerhorst and PETER PAHN return to Drumcode with their new track “Crystal Sky” — an energetic example of some modern Peak Time / Driving Techno. Following the success of their collaborative release “Dark Clouds” with Teenage Mutants, the duo continues their celestial journey, maintaining their signature balance between powerful groove and melodic tension.
At the height of the night — a new release from MDNTMVMT. The track “DARKØ” comes out in Peak Time / Driving Techno format and immediately sets the right tone: dark, dense, and with a clear emphasis on rhythm. The production by Jovany Rico and James Shen sounds confident and club-ready. This track was made for a specific purpose — to keep the tension high and not let up.
New on the radar — Mtrex & Noisy Shaun — “Sleaze.” Pure groove, minimal embellishment, maximum pressure. The sound is intense, the rhythm is catchy, and the atmosphere is dense and slightly gloomy. This is the kind of track you play towards the peak of your set, when you need to keep the dance floor energized. Minimal techno, but with a harsh edge and clear energy.
Krypta’s new track, “All In,” is a direct hit to the heart of PeakTime/Driving Techno stage sound. The goal is to rock the house and bring the atmosphere to a boil. At the same time, there is still room for the artist’s signature style.
Among the new techno releases of 2025, Future Impulse by Butcher Boy stands out. It is an aggressive club track in the techno style, combining American energy with Berlin’s cold aesthetic. An excellent choice for hard-hitting DJ sets.
Dark techno rarely sounds so measured and tense at the same time. The new track Dimensional Fold by Gregor Tresher and Petar Dundov opens the fresh EP of the same name. It immediately sets a gloomy mood: slow tempo, dark synths, sounds as if from another reality. This release is available on vinyl and digital platforms and has already made its way onto the playlists of DJs looking for depth rather than speed.
